Tried it years back - mild nasty stim; it's not sexy stuff to my mind but nor is viagra/cialis

I'd be willing to experiment with it, although I'd prefer the pharmaceutical yohimbine pills. Yohimbe root is just too difficult to dose, and when the alkaloid is dosed in milligram amounts, I'd rather not risk having my blood pressure set new records.
Used it in the form of a standardized extract and then tried pure yohimbine. Certainly not even close to being the same.
Regardless, when I used it for weight control and body building - once I quit I suffered worse fatigue and adrenal issues than after quitting meth.
It depends what you are looking for from it. Personally, I have gotten good results from yohimbine dosed at approx 10mg daily, first thing in the morning for fat loss when doing low carb diets.
As for sexual effects, I would imagine the shakes it causes more than offsets that.
I'm not sure if it has to dowith norepinephrine or other actions, perhaps the specific adenosine receptor stuff..Interesting how different people react to this compound. I tried a yohimbine pill many years ago, and it was indeed a jittery, anxious nightmare. Unfortunately I forgot the dosage but it was sold in headshops so shouldn't have been overly strong. Clonidine, having the opposite mechanism, is relaxing but also made me feel depressed when used for multiple days in a row. Took me long to figure this out, I was taking the clonidine for sleep based off the belief that it would have the opposite effects of yohimbine which wasn't entirely true.
Wonder if it's indeed a question of dosage? I could certainly use a plant based stim but I'm also very sensitive to norepinephrine, this limits the dosage windows of many stims for me so maybe it's just not for me.
Suspect vs actually having ADHD and non pure vs pure... buy some nutricost Yohimbine 5mg take 2 to try at first I'm 125lbs 2 works for me if you weigh more try more?I'm not sure if it has to dowith norepinephrine or other actions, perhaps the specific adenosine receptor stuff..
I react very poorly to other norepinephrine-based stims, specially the human made.
I said in my post that I used bark instead of pure yohimbine and while I've read the opposite idea too, (that the yohimbine itself has less side-effects) I think the bark on its own have some balancing actives on it. I don't know how much yohimbine could be in half a teaspoon of tea bark, but surely not a lot. Perhaps less than 2.5mg?
Also, I suspect that I have ADD, since a long time (in my country was not a trend in any way to diagnose it in the 90s..) so that probably comes in play.
