Weed has helped me in many, many ways.
Primarily with creativity, energy, and focus.
Weed has helped me deal with some psychological trauma and other issues I experienced (though mushrooms, acid, and ayahuasca helped more).
Sorry OP but you're fucking lying or not high.. the only thing anyone reads when high is a Taco Bell drive thru menu or an internet forum..
Weed makes people lazy... it's a fact, anyone who says otherwise is trying to defend the drug. Weed has helped me relieve stress, and cure boredom.. THAT IS IT. It's an incredibly unmotivating drug, there's a reason why the stereotyped "pothead" is a lazy bum who lives with his parents at 30 and eats doritos all day..
Maybe that is you, but it is certainly not me.
I have been smoking weed for 25 years. (Not every day, and not usually all day, but probably 5000 times in that period.)
I got high multiple times every day while researching and
writing my master's thesis and PhD dissertation.
Graduated with a PhD and higher than a 4.0 GPA.
I enjoy smoking weed and exercising, creating art, music, and poetry, exploring nature...
It gives me energy, mostly mental, but some physical.
I cannot possibly sleep when I am high. I have to wait to come down first.
It most definitely does not make me lazy. In fact, I am much less lazy when I am high.
I don't get the munchies at all - in fact, I cannot eat at all unless I am absolutely starving, and then I only eat extremely healthy food.
Also, weed does not help me with boredom at all -
I have never felt bored in my life, actually.
If anything, it seems to have made your thought processes lazy, and you are making the whopping big assumption that the way it affects you simply has to be the way it affects every single person out there.
You seem to really believe the stereotype, but I would like to point out to you that there are many, many exceptions to every stereotype.
Oh, and I have not eaten Taco Bell or Doritos in at least 20 years.
