Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi I snort speed. Alot of speed, every day for 20 years. Recently I've been sold some seriously rough gear which burns the fuck out of my nose every time. Last night I lost the hearing in my right ear and now I'm wondering if this is the reason why. It never occurred to me before but of course the ears and nose use the same passageways. I suspect I've perforated my eardrum and just wondered, before I go see the doc, if anyone has heard of this happening before?
