Opioids Has my codeine tolerance gone? Good combo with Valium?

My friend used to take 1000mg+ of Codeine to notice any sort of decent effect, although this did used to mess up the rest of the day due to tiredness and feeling sick if anything was eaten at any point later in the day despite being mega hungry!

Surprisingly never developed an addiction or any w/d's even after doing this about 10 times a month for almost a year.
Anyway he can't remember the last time doing codeine now, was probably more than 6 weeks ago, never felt the urge.
Now it is the Ketamine he is trying to stay away from as he is short of cash but does have a large supply of Codeine, Tramadol and about 15 valium 10mg plus 4mg alprazolam.

So the question is after all this time has passed is it safe to do about 600mg codeine (I know people say codeine is blocked after 4-500mg but I found lots more than that to be much stronger in my tolerance days 500mg wouldn't touch the sides) and 15-20mg valium? (Valium has been about 15 taken in the last week, so no real tolerance) Don't know whether its a good idea to throw the tramadol in the mix too, or the alprazolam for that matter, would like to be awake for the day! What do you think? And should it be codeine then valium?

Sorry if this is wrong forum, Im so new....

I think it would be dangerous to even take that high of a codeine dose after such a long break without any Benzos.
And if you have only a little tolerance to the latter it would be very reckless to throw Diazepam or Alprazolam in the mix.

The general rule of not combining any CNS-depressants applies. Think about it, many people have died from the combination of Opioids and Benzodiazepines especially after taking them together "successfully" and/or a long phase of abstinence.

Don't underestimate how far your tolerance has dropped. It can be really drastic sometimes and if you aren't cautious you're going to end up killing yourself..

So doing that much right off the bat is a horrible idea.. especially even considering to combine it was benzos too. That's dangerous by itself, let alone after a long break where your tolerance has come down.

Do a very small tester dose of the codeine to gauge how low your tolerance has become and then slowly increase your dose until you reach the desired effect. Also, do not combine opiates with benzos, especially not now for your first time back.

If you have low benzo tolerance and a [now] dropped opioid tolerance, then taking any more than 5-7.5mg of Valium overpowers the subtle nuances of the opioid high, if you are indeed chasing the recreational effects from codeine once again.

For some reason, Valium is extremely physically sedating and gives a powerful body-buzz feeling, compared to the more-mental-anxiolytic Xanax which has poor muscle relaxant properties, and compared to the myorelaxant, albeit the much less physically drowsy clonazepam.

Ended up doing 100mg tramadol and 600mg codeine.
Felt fine, not too strong, the codeine wore off had a bite to eat, then I did another 350mg tramadol (I know that you shouldn't do more than 500mg because of the seizure risk)
They must have kicked in as they're instant release capsules, feel spaced bit sleepy but functionable. No Valium or xanax. And no desire to do anything else now.
So all should be good now?
Cheers again for the help guys.
