I just did a search all over bluelight but did not find anything relating to this thread. Anyway this is just a question to people who use or previously had used meth.

^^^ bahahah.. Yeah mad.. I wish meth did that to me..

I'm a 'casual' abuser of meth.. The only thing I've notice once I've finished my binges is that I've lost a bit of weight.. Not an excessive amount though..

Mid-binge however I get very oily skin, hollow eyes and cracked/burnt lips..

I don't think Meth has really changed my appearance but I am still young, it might make a difference once I get older.... I do get really dry lips though as well while I'm smoking it and a few days after I've had. I also loose a kilogramme or two when I've done it because I can't eat anything because the taste is to over powering...

Oh when I first started using when I was really young I abused the hell out of it and I use to be into my sports pretty heavily so was a decent build but now I am a lot smaller muscle wise :(, not fully skinny skinny though like some people on meth just a normal skinny...

Not really. I lose a little weight when I've been going hard for a bit, but otherwise no difference. The zombie look tends to have as much to do with bad hygeine as it does actual drug use i think.

That's true because you neglect your hygiene being high and awake for so many hours

^^^^ I've never been one to neglect my hygiene, regardless of what substance I'm under the influence of 8o

meth hasn't made much difference to me, I don't think. I lost a bit of weight when I first started a few years back.... and I've found it easier to keep from gaining it back of course.

I put on 30 kilos since i stopped using amphetamines daily for almost 2 years. So yes it does change ur appearance and ur attitude.

I think the question was whether the meth itself changes your appearance, not a lack of self care while on it.

Not being overly familiar with that side of things myself, I cant say for sure.

But I do think that your steteotypical meth junkie type look you see in those horror photo's is more easily attributed to a lack of personal upkeep, which some may say is a result of meth, but I see it more as an issue in the individual who chooses to not look after themselves, not the chemical itself.

In terms of attitude though, I think your dead on.

^^ Actually I used to go to a weekly meeting and one of the doctors could always accurately tell if I'd been using or not, she used to say when I hadn't there was more colour in my face.

If u let urself go (which alot of people do while high on ice for days) dont give a damn about being hygienic. So yea it can change u physically and emotionally. The meth faces crack me up, Im thinking thats just a gimick for people to stay of drugs like ice. Of course there are side effects when using it but if u look after urself then u wouldnt have to worry about those sort of problems. Thinking that u have bugs crawling on ur skin and scratching it is just hilarious in my point of view.

Personally the way I look now is not different due to meth use, but I hardly use the stuff anymore.

In my period of heaviest use I was very skinny, pale and generally unhealthy using. It is hard to pin it all on the meth because I was sucking down several grams of weed a day aswell as munching E like skittles and huffing nitrous like air. Obviously these other things contributed but meth was probably the biggest factor, maybe the weed too because I was smoking a LOT and it does make you skinny as fuck.

There is one user on here from Aussieland who has the bugs under skin thing happen and she said she had lots of scratches from trying to get them out with her nails. So I believe that part can be true for some users. She doesn't at all seem like one to make up stories for any reason.

to me i think it has changed my appearence. ive been using off and on for 3 years now and it just makes your skin SO saggy when you lose weight on it which is why i try to eat while on it. also decays the shit out of your teeth. the last time i stopped for a couple months was 3 months ago and i had to get 18 fillings. attractive ey? hahaha

I've spoken about how my dads very anti drugs before.

I am not exaggerating when I say that my dad had the faces of meth printed off and kept on the fridge for roughly two months to deter me and my siblings from such substances... how'd that go for him? not well my friend, not well.

What is considered a "binge" when it comes to meth?

Are you talking big sat night every week or are you talking weeks at a time or months?

How long does it take for changes to occur? Specially difficult (expensive) ones to revers such teeth probs.

Has meth changed the way you look?

Yes! I now look out of the corner of my eye constantly for those damned elusive shadow people following me! %)

Much the same as the above posters the biggest impact from using and subsequently stopping was my weight. I had pretty bad skin at the time too which may have been due to diet and not sleeping much more than the drug itself.
