Has anyone you've known "freaked out" on Ecstasy before?

Hey ppls!

Has anyone you known ever freaked out on taking ecstasy before, and if so, were you with them? and what did you do?

My friend took a full white heart (nice mdma) (we told him to take half) and he was cool for 45 mins, but then as soon as the pill hit him, he freaked out... he came to me and started saying that something is wrong with him, and fully went white and had cold/hot sweat.. took about 10 mins to explain to him his ok and the feeling is normal, he was fully freaked by the whole body numbing experience, so we had a few other happy poppers talk to him and he calmed down, told him to relax and enjoy it and the rest of the nite he was =D =D =D

bit scary though, as I was totally happy and having fun, but cause he freaked out, he kinda worried me and sscrewed my role a little :) - im glad he was ok..

anyone else had someone freak out on them?

Twice. The first time was a bit of bad luck when I was a freshie, the second time was a when i was very experienced and did something stupid. I've pretty much stayed off them ever since.
 
i do recall some incidident involving timmyk, quadruple dropping, browny rolling around in a garden bed and a door falling from the sky and landing on him.


i dunno if that was freaking out or just being so fucked you have no idea where you left reality and who stole your dog.

Those fuckin white hearts did a nice job on me.....haddent been off chops for about 3 months and came down for utopia and the night be4 it i went to noise facotry and decided to road test em and the next morining i was brain dead....was stareing at my mates wall in his loungeroom for about half an hour while slowly moving my arms like wings and then all my friends who were theere came up and were askin me if i was alright and i got really scared and didnt know who they were and started hitting out at em and shit......scat as fuck8o

nah wasnt a freak out just really really really fuggrd up(note: bluelight does not condone quadruple dropping). mate of ours did a little for his first time he had 1.5 blue melodies and the rushing was a bit much for him and it upset his tummy. he just needed to talk to people and walk around a little and he was all good after about ten minutes and still rates that as his bet time.

I have only freaked out the very first time that i had a pill so i dont think it really counts? :\

when it was coming on the air turned into (you know in old movies how a dream is shown and the air goes all wavy? ) well...like that lol

and i thought the veins under my skin on my hands were little bugs 8(
 
Ive been in this situation a few times with mates who cant handle their shit. A few people i no have ended up in mental institutions for short periods after yes taking the bikkies. yes they took the same pills from the same batch as their mates and their friends are fine but not them.

we've certainly seen it happen ...sometimes it may be because people have taken too much.. (i wouldn't call that a freak out necessarily, just a case of tom-foolery ;)), but in our opinion, most of the time it's because people underestimate MDMA. They think it's just a happy-happy joy-joy pill that will make everything pretty for a few hours. They don't realise that it's a drug that dissolves the ego, can open up a floodgate of emotion, it can bring out the true "self" - this being the main reason that it had an invaluable use in psychotherapy.

Some people (people who have a need to maintain total control of themselves and their surroundings, people that only want others to see a certain side of them or people who just take it for granted) can't handle this, they don't know how to act, they start fighting the drug and it they freak out. It can be a pretty strange experience to watch when you are well chopped yourself, but in understanding the reasoning, it becomes less strange. :)

Mmmm... I've never felt to bad on MDMA, however I do admit that days after I certainly feel f*cked up in the head and Im not thinking straight :)

i can say i have freaked out a few times but i knew it was the drugs dpoing it so it wasnt to bad

well except 4 that time with the fairies that were looking to kill me
 
Thank God I've never had a bad experience or known anyone who has, I feel for the people who have freaked out and shit.
 
yep, on NYW i took my best friend who isnt really into the whole "raving"scene to an event and gave her a pill. Due to a conbination of factors she freaked out and wanted me to take her to St Johns Ambos. I took her straight away so that her mind could be put at ease, as she is one of those people (as samadhi suggested) who like to be in control of themselves.

St Johns were great, they sat down and explained exactly what was going on inside her and just chatted with her for about half an hour. I have so much respect for these people as they do an amazing job! :)

I think my friend is still a little scared of pilling, but I know that it is up to her to decide when shes ready to try it again (if ever).

I cant say I've seen someone totally freak out, but I did read a news report once where some guy took something. Cant remember what, but he ended up tearing flesh off his own face with his hands and feeding it to his dog. They even showed a pic of him.
 
Only once have I had an adverse ie. bad reaction to E. It was a few years ago at Godspeed 1(absolutely shit event IMO). Took some non tested pill (dumbass I know) and after the first half it was defintely just speed, ie. no euphoria just the energy and rush of speed)then dropped the second half. My god. Within 30 mins my heart was racing so fast i thought i was going to go into cardiac arrest. I got mild chest pain and started to mentally panic. I tried staying and moving to the music but the music felt like it was screaming at me and it made me so scared. I knew i had to stay calm tho and not let myself totally freak.

I had to go and sit outside completely out of the music and just breathe deeply for bout an hour. The chest pain resolved but my heart continued to pound. I could actually feel it pounding against my chest wall and when I checked in the bathroom my carotid pulse in my neck was visible by bout 2 cm. Gnerally not good.

The palpitations did resolve once I started excreating the speed out of my system. Thank god. Was very unpleasant and scary. It was reassuring knowing first aid was there in case i did need them urgently but good sense and calm prevented me freaking out.

I take the moral of my own story to be test your pills, stay calm if in trouble and seek help if you need it.
 
I've seen it many times.

Mainly the people who freak out that much are the ones that aren't mentally stable to start with, either full of depression or just a little weird.
 
yeah, ive seen 2 people freak out.
the first one didn't know why she freaked out, and was breathing heavily etc, then she was fine after 10minutes.
the second time, the girl wouldn't know where she was, freak out, then be fine, and we'd ask her about it, and she didn't even know what we were talking about!!!
and this happened like 3 times in 20minutes, really fucked up.
I, myself, have never freaked out on any drug, surprisingly.
