Has anyone successfully treated their Derealization with MDMA?

I've done a google search for mdma and derealization, but all the content is about how you can *get* derealization from mdma. This makes no sense to me, because historically it brings me into my body and into reality. But, since I've gotten derealization, I haven't tried it yet. But I'm quite tempted to, as I have always gotten a good afterglow from it, and a nice, grounding feeling, and awareness.

Treatment is significantly different than short term relief.

If being on MDMA "cures" this for you temporarily it's only going to make it worse in the long run when you sober up. That is unless you plan on staying high on MDMA for the rest of your life.

I would say that short term relief is what most people actually get when they try this, unless of course in that time they amend whatever is causing the derealisation (possibly abuse of other drugs)

MDMA brought on my DR.

DR is NO fun at all. I feel for you.

The only substance I found useful for "treating" DR was ethanol. Besides that, time and distraction was my cure.

Dawglaw, can you describe how the derealization felt for you? I don't really know if what I have is derealization or just a fried brain.

I feel spaced out, difficulties to concentrate. Feeling a bit detached from my surroundings, no probleme to engage in conversations but feeling a bit disconnected from them.

It has got better in the last 3 and a half months.

In those 3 and a half months, I had 3 days out of nowhere where I have felt 100% good back to my self. Those 3 different days have been spaced out in time.

That is the only thing that gives me hope, if I have felt good again in 3 different occasions then my brain should not be fried and I am just experiencieng the effects of a severe generalized anxiety disorder.

Please help.

when i had derealization from weed (feeling hugely disconnected from reality, everything seemed about as real as a dream and further away than usual, no problems interacting with people, but actually better ability to concentrate [after all, the sensory input wasn't as intense or real as before]), i took mdma which didn't make it any better or worse during the high. the following days it was significantly but not hugely better. still the effect lasted only for 2-3 days. that's not something i'd call "treatment".

Black, how long you were affected by the derealization. During that period did you had some days were suddenly you came out of it and then felt back on it again?

Can you describe your recovery? Was it gradual, with fluctuations or suddenly you clicked out.

Waiting for your answer thank you mate.
