Has anyone run into this red sapir rock? (MDMA question)

Hey,
been a lurker for awhile. need some advice.

Anyone ever bump into this color? Never seen anything like it before. Test-kit is good(EZTEST), terrified from the color, Used to get either crystal white or brownish lumps. 8(

MDMA is MDMA. pink, blue, clear, white, brown I have seen them all...if it tests good it is good.

did you use the whole kit or just 1 reagent?


p.s. didn't get the answers you were looking for on reddit?

On EZTEST you get a small bottle that you break and put some mdma inside, shake it and get your color. So i'm not sure what to answer to your question.

I should've posted my question here, not on reddit. Seems that are more people with experience here. but then again - why not both?

I was reading about cleaning with acetone but then ran into some messages about it being dangerous and my hands are pretty bad with.. messing with stuff.
 
I've never seen anything like that. If it tests good it should be ok, but that only shows a presence of MDMA. Maybe try some other testing to see if there's anything else in it, otherwise it's good man.
 
StrutterGear, do you mean other test kits? Different? Are there any that show how much MDMA is inside?
I dont mind to put a little more money in other test kits if there are any.

There are other tests that will look for things that are specifically not MDMA, so you can see if it is adulterated. What the Marquis test you did has shown is there there is MDMA, present, but there is no gurantee that is all there is. Mandelin, Mecke, Simons etc all available, check them out. The only test to show exactly the purity of MDMA is a lab test which is incredibly expensive.

If I was you I'd do a Mandelin to see if there's any PMA. Then if that's good I'd eat it. The Marquis test has shown it's not a variety of other cross adulterants that other tests would be aimed at anyway.

Have to be realistic. Ideally you want to use all test kits, but doing one or two will suffice just to be sure. Good luck !
 
A few of the reactions I have seen involving MDA / MDMA synthesis can produce a red colour.

Just out of interest are any of the rocks you have mushey or damp?

Below is a pic of some MDA freebase being gassed in a solution of DCM. Not all the reactions make brown :)

You could try an Acetone wash it wont hurt. Just be sure to use anhydrous Acetone or you might lose some product and be sure to dry the crytstals properly afterwards before you ingest. A lamp shining on the crystals will help with drying or direct sunlight through a window.
