Opioids Has anybody here tried using Cat's Claw to potentiate their methadone?

There aren't many topics about this that I could find, but I know that cat's claw is apparently supposed to be quite effective at boosting the action of methadone for people on maintenance and also make it last longer. This interests me particularly because I metabolize methadone very rapidly - to the point where I wake up in the morning and am just under 24 hours since my last dose and am already yawning and sneezing..sometimes even sweating and nauseated. My clinic won't allow me to split my dose however because they say it is only for pain patients. Besides, it's already a big pain to go to the pharmacy every morning, let alone doing it twice. Any potentiator that could extend the half life of the methadone would be very useful.

So for anyone who knows about this or has taken it, can you please tell me if it works, how effective it actually is with specific effects and durations if possible, what exact dosage you used of both cat's claw AND methadone, particularly the mg of cat's claw per capsule and number of capsules and any other general knowledge or experiences with this if possible. Can you take this combo daily or is it best to save it occasionally - will it lose efficacy over time? Lastly, is there any danger in doing this in the sense of dangerously increasing opiate levels in the blood? Thanks all.

Yes, it was done 5 hours ago. The Cat's Claw (3 ml tincture) was taken on an empty stomach about 45 minutes before methadone was taken. 1 hour after, an effect was felt. It did give the feeling of having taken 11/2 methadone dose for about 3 hours. But unfortunately, nausea was also felt. This was the first time the experiment had been tried. Tomorrow a larger Cat's Claw dose will be tried. And to add, 2.5mg clonazepam was taken as well but there is no report of Cat's Claw having an effect on clonazepam .
