Has anybody ever gotten thoughts like this on psychedelics?

psychedelics have taught me to value the NOW, to live in the present, to enjoy every second of consciousness that one is gifted with.

bravo. do you want the mean, old, ridiculous view on the left, or the happy, fun, exciting drug view on the right.

i offer nothing more than an aid to guide those out of the nonsensical mess that is psychedelic drug use.

ehh they make you think you see clearly. drugs are like a lie you believe to be true.

With this argument couldn't you also say that maybe what you think is a lie you believe to me true?

I agree with TangerinO that psychedelics have allowed me to see things clearer, particularly because they do the opposite of what you said, at least in my experience - they impose no views or values and they do not force or suggest beliefs. They make you question the beliefs you have, they make you take a second look at those things you believed to be true without a second thought, they allow you to see yourself at your humblest and see the world through a new light. That to me is therapy at its purest, accepting of all views - but making sure that you never accept something without questioning it first. :)

Each person (subjective consciousness) discloses it's own reality as it encounters worldly exposure depending on where we are in the world at different events. The whole time using a subjectively developed lens of interpretation to make sense of what they see.

Obviously, things as simple as growing up in different childhoods or decades of history can influence the type of world you encounter and your ways of making sense of it.

Reality is subjective for each person, but is shared based on different people interpreting very similar stimuli in the same world. The real plane of life is: Subjective Being and Time - not Space and Time - because different people (Beings) interpret the same space and time differently.

That's why 10 people can witness the same event and each one can have different interpretations (realities) of what happened or what it means given what they knew or believed leading up to the event.

I found this to be completely true on psychedelics, but the problem is after the trip is over the insight is over, and you require more to again achieve that accepting state. And then after a while, it becomes hard to be accepting of altering views without the drug. Since psyches are too good to be true, use leads to abuse, at which time quitting leads to negative emotional states because the brain chemistry has been changed. Therapy is all about reaching a natural state of balance.

Totally have been wondering these thoughts since I was like 8 or 9. I remember talking to my friend about it at like 11 and he was all like "yeah I used to do that too". In short Little kids are bloody trippy.
