harvest season newbie

hey. i've been thinking of making my way to nor cal this fall (around late september/early to mid october) to try to get involved with some of the gardening going on out there. don't really know the ropes of getting work. i've heard of posting up with a cardboard sign with a pair of scissors drawn on it, but not much more than that.

don't know if this post is breaking any of the guidelines.

any tips would be helpful.

Well...it's not against the guidelines as such...but I'm also not really comfortable with it being open...I mean, what you're asking for is advice on how to get illegal work. We allow growing discussion for personal use, but this is talking about commercial grows. I'm going to close it, PM me if you want to talk about it.
