Hardstyle clubs on the gold coast

I am heading up to the gold coast in march and wanted to know if there is any clubs in surfers like melbourne clubs bubble, phd or 3d? i am looking for hardstyle, hard trance, psy trance, any info would be nice

If you are used to the Melb trance scene, you will be sadly disappointed when you get to the Coast. Everything on the GC is now watered down to the point of being unrecognisable and unless you are a 'somebody' you won't find much action.

the music on the gold coast is shit

all your likely to find is rap, rnb and commercial dance

i would advise family on a friday night, all they play is trance... its bloody awesome

Hey guys, just wondering, kinda like the OPs question: are there any hardstyle-type clubs in Brisbane? I'm sick of shitty pop/dance crap being blasted at bars and clubs

^ I haven't been to any for ages (years). Used to go to a lot of the ones at the Arena (System 6, Time Tunnel, & ones by the Adventjah crew) but it's a shitty R&B club now, and also downstairs at the Beat. There are apparently still nights on regularly at Rockerfellas downstairs, and occasionally at the Family. I think there were regular events at the Planet nightclub on Warner st called "Blackout Fridays" but they may have stopped now (new management?)?

There are a few on the goldy... but nothing like Sydney or Melbs. Correct a lot of commercial club/RnB. Tho check out elsewhere bar, Temple, Luna Loca, There r a few others.. depends if u want ladies

personally nothing in the hard catogorie. i love hard dance and was severely disapointed in all the rnb in the goldcoast.
best club i found was melbas (up stairs) for harder electro styles.
i also went to a place called elsewhere!!! fuck me, wat a laugh that place was. very punky, was told it was a harder club.... person thought by harder i meant punk

We don't have any dedicated hardstyle clubs here on the Gold Coast.. It's all generic top 40 stuff being blasted at 95% of them. Your best bet is Brisbane.

Family, Empire and Birdee Num Nums are my three favourite places there, you probs won't get 'just' hardstyle but the music will be a billion times better than you'd get at like Sin City or Vanity down here on the Coast..

If you're sticking with the GC, I'd recommend Broadbeach instead of Surfers and hit up Platinum.. If you're going with Surfers, Luna Loca & Temple would be my two picks.. Temple plays great house/french house/electro stuff FYI..
