Hello all. I am new to this website and am not sure where this question belongs.
I have been IVing suboxone tablets for about 3 years now. I have been using the vein in the crook of my arm on both sides mostly up until recently when I got scared because I noticed a hardened area above the crook of my right arm on my bicep, which is the arm I mostly used. My arm also started to hurt. I get these weird pains when I overwork my arm. Also I have noticed the circulation in my arm is being cut off and it seems that blood isn't getting down to my hand. Some days I don't have any issues with it and other days it's almost like I can't use my arm. I'm wondering if maybe this lump/hardened area on my bicep could be a build up of the fillers in the suboxone? Or maybe a blood clot? I'm no longer shooting into that arm. I'm also hesitant to go to my doctor in fear that they will find something really bad, and also the fact that I've been shooting my medication. Does anyone have any ideas? Is it possible for pill filler to build up in your vein? Wouldn't your vein just collapse? Idk, please someone help! I need an answer!

It is possible that there is some particular matter stuck in the tissue there, and that it may be coming infected. Try alternating Hot/Cold compresses for 15 minutes at a time.

If it doesn't improve in 24-48 hours, go get it looked at...The sooner the better, as the infection can spread and cause major problems if left alone!

I have an upcoming Dr's appt and I'm definetly going to tell my Dr. I usually filter once, with a piece of cotton, not micron filters. I know that's asking for problems. Anyway, I also stupidly injected into a vein on the lower half of my arm (the bad arm) for a few days and now I'm getting weird symptoms. For example, I noticed a superficial vein on the surface of my arm look bruised as if it had been punctured and I never went in it. And my circulation is fucked up. I raise my arm above my head and it makes it feel better. It's like whatever blood/substances on the lower half of the lump arm circulating, really aren't circulating and going anywhere. Idk. Also, I noticed the hard lump on my bicep seems a little bit bigger. When I bend/unbend my arm it's like I can feel the lump. Does that main middle vein, that we usually use first, run straight up over your bicep? I thought it turns at the crease of your arm. So if that vein doesn't, what the hell could it be? Could it be from tying off in the same spot? I do know that I first noticed the hard area like maybe a year and a half ago. And it has grown since then. Idk. I fear that my arm is going to fall off or I'm going to have endocarditis or some shit. I know I need to go to the doctor and all that, I just need some type of explanation for now so I don't have to keep wondering. Sorry for the rambling, hope someone can offer an explanation.

lol, at telling the DR you only filter once and don't use micron filters.

Suboxone is gotta be one of the most ridic and dangerous drugs to shoot. You might want to consider detox>long term rehab.

Wish you well
