So since I just started smoking h I have been posting a few questions on here. Here's another, why is it hard to pee while on h? Didn't notice it until the third time, it's like I have a full bladder but I have to sit there for a minute or two until I actually start to pee. Then once I start it isn't a consistent flow. I noticed it again last night after I got china white. It wasn't as bad as the time before but still kinda difficult. I have no discomfort thankfully. My boyfriend is having the same issue and I asked my friends about it and they too experience that. Why does this happen?

It's pretty common to experience dry mouth, trouble urinating and constipation while using opiates due to their anticholinergic effects. Another thing you might notice from overusing opiates, this can make the muscles that control urinary function a bit lazy. So you don't have a strong flow even when you really have to go, you have to push harder to make it come out.

As others said its very common on opiates and can be very annoying. I usually have to come up with ways to get things going such as sitting down (I'm a guy) then standing back up. Sometimes i can go standing other times i have to sit and others a combination of the two works.

I have to just sit there abd push

There is another thread on this. Opiates put smooth muscle to sleep basically. This is the reason chronic opiate use causes constipation as the muscles used to move food down the digestive track are smooth muscles. The muscle responsible for urine excretion is also smooth muscle. So that muscle is as lit as you are and not very down with the labor. If you use the search function you can find a post where I linked all this.

I like that because I get so many tension headaches so I noticed that after the first hit of that sack it feels great but trouble peeing really sucks lol

Yeah, that is very normal on all opiates, though I've found it goes away after a while. It did for me anyway.

Yes dr katz it does, I only experienced nausea/vomiting on H the first coupla times I used it, unless I really over did but that was years later and totally my own fault for being greedy! :/

i would turn on the faucet. for some reason the running water made it easier to pee. ha! Terrible waste of resources tho.

turning on a faucet isn't going to make any difference to physical, anticholinergic effects. the only real solution is don't do it man.
