Bluelighter
The sound of nothing drips on the floor
smelling the romance, that eats at me raw
I long to be touched through what I write
I want to be seen, with all of my might.
I live in a fantasy world of mythical giants
And swim in the ocean of real world life
Waiting for a human to swim with me
As well as to drown with me, in a world of fantasy.
So come with me on this beat of creativity
The depths of these waters unknown to me
But if you want me to survive on land
You’re gonna have to catch me first,
Searching as deep as the sand.
I am the crab who sits on the ocean floor
Waiting for a net to catch me off guard
Or find another mate to make his surreal world less dark
If you think you can do this, tell me you love me
And perhaps true love will make me feel less ugly
But if you aren’t up for the challenge,
save your time and leave me be.
A lonely crab at the bottom of the sea.
