No season holds this weather.
Dark sullen specters
or the brightest of days?

The question is not whether
I am to study to be a rector
and be the devout: the one who prays,

For us all.

Don’t pray for me, don’t impose yet another toll.
Don’t say to me, which way I gotta be.
Wont wait.

Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring.
All seasons hold the weather.
All things are bound together.
Another caught-up sinner sings
about all the misery that love brings.

What reason is there ever?

Thanks for the criticism Colico

Can you tell I like my pre-modern/romantic british poets?

Unfortunately I can't keep to a strict poetical format when i write. It goes all over the place.

I love/hate when I read something, form an opinion, and then find that the commenters before me have said exactly what I was thinking.

Crisp and free. You got it exactly right.

Yeah, I like this one. Love the first and last lines, and what falls between flows very well.

I can see the Romantic influence... Byron especially?
