Yes, its that day when the land was stolen, so lets all drink and be merry for a renewed patriotc sense of LOVE for the ruins we leave!! ;)

So what are people doing?

I am getting drunk, and snorting 2C-D and lucy is just about reaching a PEAK woohoo!!

Yaay!! Invasion day of what country? <33333

Making many merry Mephedrone mangled memoirs on this magnificent Monday 30 minutes to midnight.

Feeling a little alliterated....

I have been unpacking from rainbow. Just going to chill with some friends from canberra tonight before they head home. Got some super tasty spag bol waiting to eat (and probably some left-over goon from rainbow ;))

Not doing shit today, just heading to the fireworks. Boring day. Poo.

The "Alcohol Ban" is keeping me away from the foreshore.. Plus i got firework's at home so will most likely host my own fireworks show in the street :p

I'm pissed off that Video Ezy cancel their tight arse tuesdays on public holidays :X

At least the supermarkets were open.

I spent the afternoon with Keith Urban, Russell Crowe, Jenny Morris and Derryn Hinch, drinking and laughing about how easy it was to move to Australia and collect social security. ;)

Yes, I didn't end up going after all. That alcohol ban + lack of good pills has been keeping me indoors lately.

can anyone tell me the day Australia day came out and how? The way people label this public holiday as "Invasion Day" is making me curious as to whether Jan 26th was the actual day Australia got invaded.

26th January, 1788 was the date that the First Fleet landed in Sydney cove.

Please refer to Governor Burke's doctrine of Terra nullius and the subsequent Gove Land Rights Case and the final 6-1 decision handed down by the High Court of Australia in Mabo and Others v Queensland (No. 2)
