I'm also not pleased at being the sole benefactor for every birthday. Could I make a request to the rest of the forum to please give Shambles amazon.co.uk vouchers this year.

If ALL of you could just give a voucher for £1 or £2, or even more, then it would all add up to a really significant amount.

Shambles is a REALLY nice guy, and really skint also. The perfect fella to donate too. It would really make his birthday if everyone could contribute, and might bring him some warmth this winter.

Come on, guys...
 
Bwaahahahahhahahhah! Sorry Raas but your post did tickle me some. That may be largely me, mind...

Firstly, thankyou kindly for the upgrade - really I was not being snotty about anything I promise. I absolutely was not expecting anybody to be doing stuff like that. Maybe a card or a lil something from people I'm in fairly good contact with (cos y'all are a bit lovely like that <3) but also very far from expected. And even further from people feeling they should need to feel obliged to go spending money on birthday gifts for people on an internet drug forum whether they know them or not, Raas. It's not that I don't appreciate the gesture cos I am a bit nice if I do say so myself and definitely skint (usually - not so much this month for unrelated reasons). And I told y'all - MamaSham got me a nice thick jumper and some wooly trousers so not gonna be moaning about the cold this winter I hope ;)

Many thanks for kind words and well wishes - they really do make a boy smile - but that's plenty enough it really is :)

(but not gonna lie i did still snaffle the extra three quid - skint for a lifetime doesn't go away for day of windfall however good use I've put at least a good chunk of it in terms of bills (which I actually have and am gonna do a bit more whilst I still can) and they do have some great books and stuff on amazon and was meaning to register sometime anyway so hopefully a lil nudge towards finding more good distractions now and then along the way)

In before Raas comes in crying that Shambles gets multiple birthdays, while the rest of the human race gets just the one ;p
