Shameless Plug

Today is also the birthday of the daughter of my Partner-in-Crime. She is a stunningly beautiful and intelligent young woman, and I am so proud of her. I first met them both when she was just 6 or 7 years old, and I used to carry her on my shoulders so she could see the stage at punk gigs! I feel privileged to have watched her blossom into the person she has become today; and I pity her father who ran away from his obligations as a new-found family man, because he will never be able to feel truly as wonderful as this.

Hey, maybe there is something in this whole star sign malarkey after all =D

Monday would be me b'day. And would've been Evad's (). And also one of the old US mods who surely isn't a mod any more but I always got on with yet can never recall his name. Good day for birthing is the ninth. In other b'day news, I happen to know Pagey's is on Thursday cos I was appalled to discover I am literally twice her age for the intervening three days. I never expected to be twice anybodies age. Sort of. You know wot I mean, I'm sure. Still, 40's still looking distant enough for it to still be in the realms of b'days worth acknowledging. Just
