I think when someone reaches 50,000 posts they deserve a special commemorative thread of their own.


So Ladies & Gents, let's push aside all our differences for tonight... come together... and rejoice in the good name of Shambles and all his wonderful 50,000 posts spanning over nearly a decade.

I first met Shambles in EADD 8 years ago - I remember arguing with you pedantically in the theology thread, disagreeing on everything completely and you were using a lot of smiley's in each post. How times have changed...

You earnt that figure the hard way also, with lot's of decent, informed posts... rather than your typical lounge whore who deliberately racks up their post counts with youtube vids, unfunny GIF images of kittens and "say something about the BL'r above you" threads.

imo eadd IS Shambles. The most prominent poster in here of all time. So, let us raise our glasses to drug abuse and unemployment, as we show our appreciation to your sustained input into this forum and look forward to many more of your delightful posts!
 
Happy 50k Shambles! Always a pleasure reading your posts, even the more disturbing ones involving dubious behaviour ;)

Regardless of how far this film has gone from the original source of his book, I can't help but love that :D
 
Yeah I think Shambles was one of the posters I found to convey the bluelight mojo most authentically, when I was only a reader. Quite original.
 
It's time to collect all 50,000 posts into one cohesive whole and publish the Shambles autobiography.
 
I'm glad I came back for such a monumental occasion. I'm toasting your 50,000 post with a glass of lovely Bordeaux. Good on you Shambles!

Dunno if 50000 is a record but is an achievement of sorts... and is actually technically on my CV in a roundabout kinda way. Yes, there really is that much of a need to pad it out :D
