Today in my quiet time, ranging from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the day and how crazy it can get. Yes, those are the Marines I live around. I know so much about the military and know the difference. Personally, I love the Marines because I can relate to the grunts who rah and unintelligibly mumble, sometimes nutty behavior misunderstood by other branches in the military...all are afraid and have a healthy fear/respect for them because, well, yeah...they are a bit special/a different animal altogether...

I get the pour-over email, my only source of news, because I want a Christ-centered but, "let's be real," digest... If you're intrested PM me and I'd be happy to direct you to their page...

Today's topic that stuck out I'll keep brief. (Right, Hannah, you've written a dissertation already, and it's not even noon o'clock yet.)

Proud or Humble?
1. What is the source of wars and fights among you?
Don’t they come from your passions that wage war within you?

9. Cleanse your hands, sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded. <--again with the ouch...

The above scripture read my mail today, let me tell you. Woah, God got it.

Even if you're not a Jesus freak, there is wisdom to be gained from the Bible. I'll just leave this here and let the readers ponder and consider, because you all are critical thinkers at BL not for one second do I doubt this...

I like your God. Considerate of others.

I don't know a bigger example of humbleness than when Jesus was on the cross. We will use Jesus here as an example of the wisdom, not because I am a Jesus freak like my shitty neighbors who are hippocrates lol But one guy on a cross says to Jesus if you are the son of God you can have an army of angels free us. The other guy on a cross said he deserved his punishment. But even though there was power enough to order an army of angels, Jesus just let it be. To people that like to win wars and dominate that looks weak. To the people that can see, letting go to such an extreme was one of the most humble acts I can reference.

Not sure what else I wanted to type yet. But I can say humbleness is NOT weakness. It is strength that will help us sail through life. I mean what is there to win here on Earth? People can get delusional . And nobody owns anything. We just borrow. But people think they can cling to material things and not get the lesson of being humble.
