Hello. I was searching for help with my Oxy addiction and I found Bluelight. I have been reading the forums for a few days and I wanted to join the conversation. I will be posting on the Dark Side.

Hi, Hangin, I'm new as well. I don't even know where to start here??? I have a legit rx for pain meds based on several very real health issues that cause me chronic pain. I live in Florida and, due to the recent issues of pain rx abuse & illegal sales, I'm finding it more & more difficult to fill my meds. I normally take oxycodone 15mg up to 6x day. I can't seem to fill my rx anywhere. I have morphine but I hate the way it makes me feel. I am a single mom working as a waitress, taking care of my 9yr old son. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Hi Daddysgirl. Thanks for the welcome. I hear ya on the new regulations. My doctor who has been great in treating my chronic pain over the years has let me know that it will become tougher to fill my Rx for pain meds. I usually fill Rx for Oxycontin thru a major pharmacy mail-order. The last time I refilled the script, there was a 10 day delay while they processed the order. That never happened before. This is only ONE of the reasons I have decided to get clean. Good luck. The threads on the Dark Side forum look like a good place to begin.
