Hamilton Techno Scene?

Hey everyone... I just moved into the Hamilton region and I am looking a night club with a good electro house scene. It seems like every club I've hit so far only plays hip-hop or top 40..... Any tips would be appreciated. Smiles for all!!!!

Fuck bro I know what ur sayin. I'm in hamilton too, for school. McMaster university. And I haven't heard of any kind of electro house/trance/techno type of club anywhere around here..

Might as well just make the trip to T.O and go to Film and Comfort Zone lmao. but srsly, there has to be some sorta scene up here? come on!

Aren't there groups at Mac tuned into the regional scene? There aren't any trance clubs per se, in Hamilton. Just dance clubs which occasionally have trancey-techy themes or guest DJs. Last big event was a couple of years ago, I think up on the mountain. If there's anything, do post it up here.

I live in waterloo/kitchener, which is quite close to Hamilton. Id say just go to toronto and go to the Guvernment, i dont both going to clubs around here anymore because i just cant stand the music haha

Apparently there's a place called O Ultra Lounge up on the mountain, which has "Bliss Fridays" every week - supposed to be electro house/electronica themed. I'm trying to find a recent event video to see what's good, but not much luck.

just drive over to T.O. and hit up 178 bathurst on the right night or comfort zone on any night. electronic music, lots of drugs, and open all night, what else do ya want?

id totally drive to TO if i had a car while up in hamilton, but yea, i'll just have to go to film lounge when 1st term is over and we got christmas break. normally what the problem is, is that someone driving there is obviously preferred, but usually everyone i go with gets completely fucked, like myself. so really, no one should drive after the club, but of course most of them do, and i hate, fucking HATE being in a car when i know the driver is extremely high or sketched lol.

sure, we can take public transportation, but fuck me, more money (cab) or mission it (buses/subways/trains) - but who the fuck really wants to do that in the winter. been there done that back at 15 - 17yrs old, and holy shit, that just made coming down so much worse.

I always just take public transportation. Of course, I live in Toronto, yet it does takes me about an hour to get back from downtown Toronto. Um, as for being sketchy and coming down while coming back from a night out and your on public transportation, K helps big time, actually makes the whole coming back very fun. I don't know, something about ketamine and trains/ buses, very magical, hehe.
