The visual aspect has never been too strong, but here's what comes to mind:
Examples below are LSD.
This one time I looked up at a tree and decided to keep my eyes focused on the branches and they started to shake/change, it was really weird.
This other time I stared at a patio chair that had a blue fabric background with sunflower designs consisting of bold white lines (like a coloring book -- no details). I said to myself, "I bet I can make those flowers spin." Sure enough, I could. They totally started spinning, slowly. But it was scary because a consequence of making the flowers spin is my whole visual field changed.
