Hallucinations from drugs not known to cause them

When I take alcohol, opiates, and lorazepam, I hallucinate. These are not delusions, but much closer to psychedelic hallucinations. With alcohol I always made sense of it because of its dissociative properties, and with lorazepam some people report it also. With opiates I do not really understand. Even so I've never read anything about that with alcohol. Any explanations?
 
There are opiate dream-like states, alcohol psychosis from withdrawal and nutrient deficiencies and hallucinations from benzodiazepine withdrawal. Otherwise you are probably schizo.
 
But that's not what any of this is... And that's not what schizophrenia is...
Again, psychedelic hallucinations.
