Half gram tar habit how to taper subs

So my pet fish has be using .5gs of Mexican tar for the past two months. He only has one sub to get through withdrawals and maybe 40 grams of kratom. How bad are these withdrawals going to be and how should I taper with just the one sub and mix of kratom. Note my pet fish only smokes tar on foil, and also he is not trying to let his girlfriend fish find out he is withdrawaling as they swim in the same tank together 24/7.
