So I figured coke is highly water soluble. At a friends house, they had a bit under a gram of some pretty crappy powder.
In a shot glass, i poured what was left. In this shot glass i added a few drops of cold water, not nearly enough to dissolve everything, but enough to put a lot of it in solution. a few ml at best.
It was quickly mixed, and the water was poured onto a plate to fully dry.
*most* of the powder was left behind in the shot glass (about 50 % ), the plate dried out to leave the rest of the white powder.
Im sure this by no means leaves a 99+% pure product, but is this effective enough to ditch non-water soluble filler behind and get something better? Would some remaining coke for some reason not go into solution?
