Hey all, as stated above I am from california. I'm 19 years old and I'm currently in my first year as a chemistry major at the university in my town.

I like chemistry, researching, doing, etc. Wouldn't have declared a major if they didn't make me though haha, but chemistry is definitely my subject of choice and is even something that I research on my own sometimes. I joined you all here at bluelight because I have a few friends who are members of communities such as and including this one, and they have told me these are good places to connect with people and learn and share knowledge. So, I'm here to learn from you guys and offer whatever input I can. Lookin' forward to it

I'm from ca too! Its almost embarrassing, but the other day I was in the fog (outside, not in my head) - and freezing - - - at 60 degrees!

I wish I would have gotten into medicine when I went to school, studied music, and thoroughly enjoy why what goes with what. Very interesting.
