Heroin H withdrawl & sub question.

So I know this nay be a bad idea, but I want your guys opinion. And preferably quick if possible. So I'm on my last few days of my withdrawl from h. It's almost done , its been about 9 days. If I take a little bit of suboxone will that PROLONG my withdrawl and make it last a gte more days. Is it like taking h ? Don't ask why I would please. Thanks

One of the mods will assuredly close this in a moment. But my personal opinion is that you'll be ok. Also I don't buy the 'reset' thing; it may add time to your WD, it may also take time away, but it won't invalidate 9 days of work.

suess put it well. start low on the sub, if ideally 1mg would hold you over for awhile that'd be fantastic. no matter what i would start a taper immediately with the bupe. if you take 1.5mg to get comfortable make sure you are arent matching that dose again unless absolutely nessecary. to be honest, you are 9 days in, which for me meant the mental aspect was probably peaking... i would dose as low as possible with the bupe and continue to dose downward...
 
To twat, I don't plan on tapering at all. You didn't really address my question at all really ha, alright But, it's...will this one time use of 2mg sub nine days in PROLONG IT EVEN MORE than if I didn't use it at all
 
sorry lol... realistically i mean, dude, you are 9 days off the horse... the worst is behind you, why dabble with anything at this point? id imagine short of the mental aspect, loperamide, ibuprofen and maybe some diph could hold you until youre comfortable?... personal preference i guess but i wouldnt bother with the sub at the point. if you took sub now you will feel better but what about 12 hours or so from then? youre right back where you were... i dont know if it would prolong it but it may put your progress on hold
 
For sure, thanks. I've been asking this question on blue light for a while now, many many times, and it seems like no one knows. Surprising. But when I think about it, it really doesn't seem like it would be like I took a shot of dope and cancel out the nine days. I hope so,
 
Yeah; you've essentially left most of the WD behind you. It sounds like you have only a single sub dose at hand. It's unlikely to reinstitute WD's which have already for the most part dissipated. IMO.

Like they said, you've come so far man... why put an opiate back in your body? 9 days off H is an amazing accomplishment. I feel like you must be depressed as hell right now and want some relief. I understand... but in a few days when the sub wears off you're going to have to continue toughing it out. It won't necessarily lengthen the withdrawal period, but I think we all agree it won't shorten it. Keep it up brotha
