Heroin H, I don't get it..

17mg in a stamp is unreal, unless they were extremely cheap. counts have been decreasing across the east coast. as heroin is becoming more popular the price seems like its going up. but thats neither here nor there. where I'm from it used to be half gram bags for a certain price, I didn't do any for 2 years and now those bags are quarter grams.

Yeh I know man ppl gonna keep comin back no matter what n the population of users is only growin. Ever since they started bustin dr.'s for pills n shit its been gettn worse cuz pills $$ went up. Ppl went to dope n now where ina middle of high $ cost of both pills n dope.

I dont get the Heroin/Pill hypocrisy. Im not saying H is any better, cause ive had to friends OD and die, and its ruined countless other friends lives but its really alll the same shit. People dont get raised eyebrows about poppin oxys, but you break out h and people look at you likea savage animal. H was made by the pharma companies to begin with and the stuff their pumpin out now is just as addicting its just re-named to something less evil sounding than heroin.

I couldn't agree more man heroin carries such a negative connotation compared to other opiates i don't even think a lot of people know that heroin and prescription painkillers are basically the same thing.

^I agree that heroin and prescription painkillers are pretty much the same thing but the culture of IV heroin use is quite a bit more dangerous and shady that pharmaceuticals....factor in the fact that heroin lends itself perfectly to IVing and you're dealing with two different worlds....

I'd never wanna deal with the hassle of waiting for different people to pick up scripts and paying ridiculous prices for pills, which is why, if you're a straight 24/7 opiate addict, heroin is much easier to deal with in a lot of ways, but to go from dealing with the guy down the street selling his oxy script to straight ghetto dope dealers is a tough transition for a lot of people....It's not really that common to have a normal person who doesn't look like a drug dealer delivering dope to the suburbs and the areas you usually have to go to buy heroin, you end up risking going to jail every time you go to buy

In the midst of a major heroin habit a few years ago, I shot 240 mgs of oxy and barely felt anything....that was before they changed the formula and it was still a rip off for the three eighties, but they were half the price then than they are now....I cant even imagine paying 300 dollars a day on pills...

Yeah I understand what your getting at. I had a friend who said detoxing from Oxy's was worse than dope though because with a pill your getting the same amount of opiate in your system each time, with heroin you could get stuff that a single bag will leave you qith your head in your lap or you can do a bundle and just be buzzed. Dope can be inconsistent, so if your doing crappy dope, not as bad WD's... If your getting your dope off a real dude he aint cutting it with nothing thats gonna kill you, would Walmart kill off their customers...fuck no

I agree with ya OP. The effects of H are too sedating for my liking and it seems to depress the breathing considerably more than oxy. One thing you might not have taken into account however is when you do get to a nodding point with oxy you probably don't notice or worry about the considerable respiratory depression it's causing you whereas with a new substance like H you tend to focus on that aspect a lot more. my $.02
