I'm very close to starting my own gun collection. My favorite weapon would have to be a gatling gun just because of the sheer firepower. But the most practical gun to me would probably be a sawed off, or maybe a mack10 or mack11. Something really compact but still packs a punch.

do you have any guns to start with?

besides the sawed-off, most of the guns you mentioned are either unrealistic or not practical.

start thinking either a .22 ruger , some WW II surplus rifle, etc. .

my first gun was a Yugoslavian SKS, never used for 158.00 , Its a solid fun gun.

Certainly there are people who enjoy guns. I'd hate to rob them of such a passion, but I'd be willing to trade that freedom for a gunless society.

They have their place. Not in my life, though.

I've been beaten up twice by thugs in street encounters, and in both cases, a gun just would have made things worse. If I was female, I'd likely pack one, though. I think they ought to give a carry permit to just about any gal who wants one.

Nuclear weapons, probably not. That is not fair to the environment. But I can see how an anti-tank missile, if used responsibly, can be quite an asset.
