Yes yes yes. IIRC i lost my virginity to that song in 8th grade.

^^OK now we cant be friends anymore. thats it.

lol jk

Anyways as far as this thread goes, it aint exactly one song or artist, just I still listen to a lot of old-ish shit that aint quite classic but wasnt bad.... the songs that were really hot 2 or 3 or 4 years ago...not old enough to be classic, not new enough to be hot. just kinda in the top 40 hip hop purgatory long enough for them to either become classics or at least make it onto "Hot Hits of '03" lol. but for now i still listen to some of that shit from time to time...what....a lot of times a song gets played out then if i put it on again a year or 2 later it sounds good again. but it definately looses the hot and fresh like its straight out the oven feeling.

i have no reluctance to admit it but a lot of people dont see it coming when i say i like bluegrass, styx, hendrix, black sabbath, or the smashing pumpkins.

Counting Crows 'august and everything after'

what a fucking good CD.

I've always been a little bit of a fan of Counting Crows. I listened to This Desert Life the other day for the first time in like 4 or 5 years. I've found a lot of people are pleasantly surprised when they listen to a few songs that weren't on the radio.

Every real metal fan likes Black Sabbath, nothing to feel guilty about there.

Prince, all the 3121 new album

it's so cheesy synthpop androgynous wailing

but its fucking catchy!

Britney Spears (select songs)
Christina Aguilera's first hit (everything else sucks IMO)
Lindsay Lohan
Backstreet Boys' first album
Boys II Men haha!
Justin Timberlake's Cry Me a River

^I didn't know Jimmy Buffet had a country album.

Van Morrison just released a country album and I can't say I like it. I much prefer old school Van Morrison.

August and Everything After is a good CD...although I think I gave my copy away years ago. Lots of great b-sides on there.

I love some of today's poptarts and get a lot of shit for it:

Bloc Party, Death Cab for Cutie, Ash. I like Coldplay, I don't know what the anti-them fuss is all about.

I also have a hammering obsession with Queen, even songs like "Don't Stop Me Now". Billy Joel. Yep.

never said it was bad at all, just said a lot of people dont see it coming.

master of reality is quite possibly one of the greatist albums of all time.

I used to like Ace of Base when I was younger and now I sing along to it everytime it gets played on the jukebox-I hate that about myself!

"Don't turn around! Or you're gonna see your heart breakin'"
