Guernsey's Border Agency has confirmed the prominence of legal highs in recent years has led to an increase in hard drug use.
Many of those legal highs have already been banned, but it seems some have sought a bigger fix elsewhere.
The Agency did warn this would happen.
When legal highs first hit the market the authorities said they caused havoc with people's health.
Many are now banned, but, some wanted a harder hit.
Drug traffickers and money launderers like Simon Domaille (above) have tried to cash in on the trade.
The 33-year-old Guernsey man has been sentenced to five years in prison for drug trafficking and money laundering.
