Guanfacine only help hyperactivity or attention as well?

Hey guys I'm just wondering if Guanfacine is only meant to treat hyperactivity or if it can help people pay attention as well that don't have hyperactivity. All the stimulants, including Strattera make me more anxious. Thanks very much everyone.
