Guaifenesin, CPM, and DXM question?

It just so happens I got:

Mucinex DM: Has 30 mg DXM HBr, 600 mg Guaifenesin per tablet, has 20 tablets.

Family Dollar Coricidin Cough and Colds: Has 30 mg DXM HBr, 4 mg CPM per pill, has 16 pills.

So here's some info: As I know I'm going to get a flame war for merely having the word Coricidin here, let me explain. I'm a fairly experienced robotripper that knows the dangers of CPM very well, and I haven't touched Coricidin of any kind in over 6 months, and that time was for legitimate medicinal purposes. But I have done up to 16 of them before, and never experienced any negative side effects that are associated with it. Relating to the Guaifenesin, I've only had it in my system once, and that was when I took about 480 mg DXM HBr and 9600 mg Guaifenesin from the one time I took Mucinex DM to trip. I didn't even experience nausea or diarrhea from hell, which surprised even me considering the horror stories I've heard. Not even stomach pain. Guess I have a strong stomach.

So my question is, if I take 720 mg DXM HBr, 9600 mg Guaifenesin, and 32 mg CPM, will this cause Kidney Stones/volatile reaction between the Guaifenesin and CPM in any form, even if it is the first time mixing both drugs and the second time using Guaifenesin?

Or better yet, would it be better to take my chances taking 600 mg DXM HBr and 12000 mg Guaifenesin instead of mixing it with CPM? I think I can honestly handle the Guaif, but I've never done more than 9600 and I was just wondering.

I got them for my flu, and it worked, but I have some left over and I REALLY, REALLY, REEEEEALLY don't have the time or money to go back for a while.
 
Damn you are really able to go over the guaifenesin limit if you have done 9600mg with no stomach problems.
I cannot say for sure that either of those options are particularly safe. The daily limit for guaif is supposed to be around 2400mg, after that honestly the side effects could get unpredictable.
If I had to choose one of those two, I would do the second choice, because DXM + CPM + guaif together could cause serious respiratory depression, hives, amongst some other possibly life threatening side effects.
I can not say for sure if they would cause kidney stones, but either way if you are taking dosages that high in EITHER situation the risk of side effects is incredibly high.
I would say its a miracle that you didnt get violently sick from 9600mg the first time.
 
Alright, then I guess I'm sticking to the Guaif instead of a triple mix, since I don't particularly enjoy dying painfully. I'd have to agree though, I thought I was at least gonna get a little sick, but nothing. Thank you for the information regarding the whole DXM + CPM + Guaifenesin possible reactions, that may have very well been a life saver.
 
yeah do not mix CPM with DXM ever, if you must have an antihistamine to add to your high use diphenhydramine at appropriate doses, as i know many people prefer CPM and DXM high over just DXM alone, i know i do.
 
It's legal man, it's one of the easiest drugs to obtain as it's pretty much unregulated too.
I understand how hard it can be getting DXM-containing products without the other shit sometimes, but it's bad enough you're putting all the other stuff that comes along in the syrup to begin with. People have DIED from Corcidin, like CEASED TO LIVE, and you want to run the risk of dying (no matter how little) because you can't get anything better?

In my cheapest times I just took some robopills, ripped the packaging off, stuffed the bottle in my pocket and walked out. If you're willing to risk your life to trip at least TRY to get the healthiest version man.

I don't think anyone here can tell you it's ok to take 9600 mg guaifenesen, even if you've already done it once. Seems like tempting fate.:/
 
Just don't do it man. DXM is not even worth it. Since the substance by itself is so unprecictable in its effects, the mix with CPM or GF carries very high risks of strong side effects you don't want to experience. Especially not on a strong dose of dissociatives.

And just because it went well one time doesn't mean it will everytime. Be wise and wait until you can afford some DXM-only product, or like CH said, better psychs.
 
DXM is quite complex pharmacologically, i wouldn't push the limits of mixing it really.

Isn't powder dxm still available online legally? If i still worked with dxm I'd invest in some pure hbr powder definitely, those fillers in syrup are whack IMO.
