i can't fucking WAIT to play with you lamoids on the 'free walk' (or whatever it's called) option. i'm totally gonna steal your car, nick your money, butcher your hookers, then throw you off the nearest skyscraper. woo-hoo! =D

seriously though... i really can't fucking wait for this. my life has gone on hold with every single release of GTA, right from the first one on PC.

I'm going to go down and pre-order it today just to make sure I actually get a copy when it comes out! Finally I'll have a decent game for my PS3!
 
^^ def need to pre-order soon my buddy had to go to three different places before he could find a place with any reservations left. Also Don Luigi that is quite possibly the best avatar I have ever seen.
 
i read today that the producers of the iron man film are now packing shit about being released so close to this video game.

Haha and I got slagged off when I changed it! Cheers lol

Aye I tried a few places today and I was basically told that the entire UK stock has been pre-ordered and I ain't getting it on the day it's released. He said it could be a couple of weeks before new stock. He said I might be able to get a pre-owned one quite soon after its release but I have a better idea...


I'm going to get my balaclava on the go and some unsuspecting person is getting mugged :|

Tesco's are still doing pre-orders for day of release - for 360 and PS3.

I can't pre-order online as I have nothing to pay it with. I'll go down to Tesco's and see if they let me pre-order it in-store.
 
Don Luigi I duno how what UK retailers there are but try all the non gaming stores that might have it like Blockbusters(do you even have those) or large chains that sell all sorts of electronics. Good luck.
 
Don't have blockbusters but I'll try extra vision. I'll be so pissed off if I don't get it when it comes out and everyone keeps going on about it and telling me what happens :(

how about morrisons, asda etc.? do you know anyone that works in one of those places that could lay one aside for you?

nae trying to be funny, but you must know someone with a credit card that could order it from amazon, surely? :(

I got mine preordered with PCworld last week, mainly because it's a logistical convenience for me (read: free parking) but yeah, felix and others are spot on when they say try other places. Make sure you try places that people forget sell games, like Comet, Currys, Dixons, even check out pcworld, because no cunt in their right mind would go there for anything, so i'm sure they'll have more preorders.

DUDE I just traded in 5 games that nobody plays and got GTA the night of the release and a battery pack with the extra credit. They werent even good games, one was a PS2 game. They just offered 20% extra. Just needed to brag and say I cant wait!
 
So I think I'm going to pickup a 360 for this. Are the falcon motherboards much more reliable than the old ones? It's only the reliability issue and inconvenience of shipping a defective unit back to MS that has me debating the purchase. But the 360's back catalogue outshines the ps3's at this point, so the choice between the two seems obvious.
 
Does anyone know/have any ideas what the DLC(downladable content) will be? I haven't been this exited for a video game since I was kid. I get paid a few days before it's release, got the weekend after it's Wednesday release off, got the buds and munchies ready maybe even some black who knows. Also Don Luigi any luck finding a place to get a pre-order?
