Growth up, unemployment down, 2014 is our year.

I only stay here to be a part time carer. The twenty minutes I have with my dad twice are week are important to both me and him and I wouldn't be able to achieve that if I was based abroad. When my dad passes though I'll probably move to somewhere with a less aggressive income tax, presuming that the Conservatives don't manage to continue to reduce income tax for us wealth creators.

Twenty minutes? Damn fine job Sir Squirrel. Most council's generally advise 15, so I'd err on the side of caution, because it's important that you're not depriving your father of his sense of independence, especially if he's getting on into his 80's.

He needs to learn by his own mistakes. A good trip and a fall between visits can reinvigorate even the loneliest of old folk.
 
I don't know why anybody is quibbling over the top rate of tax. No cunt pays it anyway.

(actually that's not quite true cos i usually do whenever i'm working - i take more in benerfits than i'll ever pay in tax so only seems fair really... that and i can rarely be arsed to faff with tax codes and stuff cos i just don't understand 'em)
 
its happened in the USA, one state has done exaclty that, and i think some other counties have too. Change is afoot, its been a long time coming. We're headed in the wrong direction here, i belive that Liebor downgraded cannabis to class c controlled substance, and then changed their mind a couple of months later and made it class B. Nothing quite like having the courage of your convictions.

Though this wasnt as bad as when Bill Clinton said yes he has smoked weed, only to completely ruin it and make himslef look incredibly lame by saying "but i didnt inhale". FFS what kind of fence sitting is that, trying to please everyone he ended up pleasing no one. You either did or you didnt. It would have been a great day if he didnt add that lame thiung about not inhaling afterwards.
 
If 2014 is our year can we start it by giving me the 7% back that I've lost in wages in real terms since 2009?

Yeah, but they got excited in the same way about Hitler. I've never liked Cameron, though admittedly he hasn't done anything too terrible in his reign thus far.

I don't know if this rise in economy is so much the tories being brilliant, as it is timing. In fairness though, politics is not my strong subject so i'll back down, head back to the gibbering thread and leave this one to SHM.
 
RLP is King of Kings when it comes to troll royalty which is why I'm not biting that hard. The use of the phrase "magical" 7% - in the bit you just quoted Raas - is, I'm pretty sure, typed with tongue firmly in cheek. Thirty years ago if unemployment was at 7% we had brilliant TV plays and series about it, condemning the trampling of the poor. Now it's a desirable, if not "magical" target.

He's right about Britains manufacturing base being in the chav areas though.

Yeah probably. My trolling/alt detector has been particularly bad recently; probably 'coz I'm not reading posts properly.

Other than the eloquently written story of sticking a giant over-sized dildo up his rectum, I'm going to assume all further posts from RLP to be untrue.

In related news (and the anti-protest law is classic RLP troll humour) the government of the Ukraine has just fucking resigned! And the anti-protest laws repealed. All after laughingly issuing last minute amnesty bribes this morning to the protestors. Hey it will probably change little ultimately but it's always good to see the mighty fall. Especially when they've been cracking your heads for the last few months.
