growing mushrooms using spores?

does anyone have any advice on growing mushrooms using some spore samples in Australia?

will it require it to be placed and grown in a fridge to keep it cold ?

any tips would be good, i have a friend keen on knowing..

If you want to know about MDMA, come to bluelight. If you want to know about psilocybin mushrooms, head to the shroomery. They have a much more knowledgable base when it comes to issues like these, and you will be able to use the search engine to find all you need without even needing to start a thread.

depending on the species, yes you may need to cold shock the mycelleum to induce fruiting, especially as we're heading towards summer. I think this is the case with P. Subaeruginosa, not so much with P. Cubensis.

keystroke...if you (or your 'friend') needs any advice please feel free to email or pm. But as a rule of thumb think hygienehygienehygiene (difficult for most naturalised australians I know) and stay away from fridges.

I am hardly 'mycophobic', have at who compiled the information in the second forum announcement thread. My point is that drawing on existing resources from a site devoted the specific subject is much more informative and accurate than the few bluelighters who happen to also know about mycology.
