Hello, I'm growing marijuana and i have a few questions and need some help
Ive figured out that my one plant is a female(because it has pistols) but i dont know when its going to start flowering.
Its pretty big right now, i started to grow it around may 5-10th.
Its about 9-10 inches tall with a lot of leaves, and just started to grow 7 sided leaves on the top row of the plant.
The order the leaves in rows are, 7,5,5,4,3
I'm growing it out doors in a pot with 1 other female and I'm not sure about the other one i have in there because it started to grow demented.
But all together i have 3 plants in one pot growing with just water and plenty of sunlight.
The one I'm talking about above is the one I'm concerned about flowering
It seems petty healthy, but if anyone can tell me if I'm doing something wrong, what I'm doing right, and if anyone has any tips speak up.
Your help will be greatly appreciated,

If everything is green and healthy then you should be fine. Where abouts are you?

You can start feeding them Flowering/bloom nutrients to encourage her to hurry up. You should always be using nutrients when growing weed.

Change the lights?

Let me elaborate a little,
What lights are you growing with, Since its your first Im going to assume CFLs.
If you have daylight CFLS , you need to change to a soft white CFL , and give the plants 12 hours light, 12 hours Complete darkness (no light at all)

If you leave your plant with day light CFLS, and keep it on a 18/light on 6/lights off, it will continue to veg until you change it to 12/12.

Didnt catch you were growing outdoor, just give it 12 hours light, 12 hours complete dark..

how big is the pot? I think you said you were growing using the sun? So you pretty much have two options. The first is to wait until the fall, when the light outside gets closer to 12/12. The second is to move them inside for twelve hours everyday, and backout into the sunlight for twelve hours. This sucks...

You could also just move them inside perminante, buy some lights, and put them on 12/12 with a timer.

Soo why are they all in the same pot? Unless its a pretty good size pot and your plants are not that big you should really plant seperate. Some people I know use a soil bed or tub, but these are pretty large and mimic the soil in the ground.
 
is 12 hours of darkness mandatory? and the pot isn't that big about 10-11 inches wide about a foot deep.
Edit: sorry didn't read the end of your post Prelude i think imma take it in tonight at 9 which is in about 4 min so ill bring it back to the light outside at around 9ish tomorrow or whenever i wake up

first, i would put them in separate pots.

If your plant has a gun leave it be.:!

if it is showing pistills it is indeed a female and it has already begun to flower.
 
If your going to be bringing your plant in and outside through flowering, it's gonna be a bitch for you to keep it consistent. You cant slack off if you do, at all times you need to keep the 12/12 cycle consistent to avoid fuck ups.
 
Yeah, as others have said, if you take it in at 9 tonight, you gonna have to put it back out at 9 am.
It's gonna be a constant scheduel,l I remember when I didnt have a timer for my lights, my plant went through a 12/12 scheduel and id ahve to wake up at 6 am every morning to turn the lights out, haha...
So yeah, just try to keep the scheduel and it should work out.

It is manditory, otherwise, its possible that you might stress the plant out into a hermie.
And you always want to mimic the perfect conditions for the plant if you can.

why would you take it inside and outside? leave it outdoors and let nature take it's course. they need to be put in their own pots and you need to kill the males before they pollenate your females and fuck up your harvest.
 
Not everyone wants to wait for an entire season to pass before they can harvest their plant.
And yes, if you do have plants in the same pot, you want to remove the males as quick as possible.
Otherwise they will polinate the females
and you end up getting lots of seeds in your bud.
 
i removed the one i thought was a male so that's done and over with. But its been 2 day of bringing it in and out and the one female has its bottem leaves turning yellow and brown and no the the two that don't look like weed leaves these are the actuall weed leaves turning that color is this normal? i don't want my plants to die; i would have wasted so much time
 
hmm My problem seems to mimic yours. why is the oldest foliage yellow and producing brown spots and while the rest of the plant is healthy? indoors 50/50 organic mix/intert media. I have been informed soluble potash is the solution?

In my experience 12 and 12 is best. You can get a "timer" for your lights so they go on and off by themselves. Also egg shells and shit like that in the soil helps.
 
you planted in early may and they are only 9-10 icnches tall at that first post...its only July 15th today and if it just has the one row of 7 leaves on top ,it sounds like its just in vegatative state,,maybe you are just seeing growing tips/or were seeing instead of those being pistols,,sounds like you have a dwarf strain of an autoflowering type like lowryder or something,byt 7 leaves are sativa which grow taller and take longer to start flowering out...so if it's a hydrid autoflowering plant i guesss it can still have 7 leave saltho most autofloweres have 5 leaves ,,,it takes those about 90+ days till they automatically start flowering(producing buds) and it is then another 60+ days till it has flowered out(budded) out and is ready to harvest...adding some nutrients should help with the discoloration of leaves or you are watering too much..or not enough...overwatering kills about as many plants or more than underwatering them...hmmm interseting let us know how these turn out,,,something sounds odd about these plants ,,maybe the are an autoflowering strain but even then it seems to be a small and quick one...
