im sick of wasting my time grinding my powder up..
is smashin crystal w/ a c.ccard and then grindin w/ a razor the only ... or best way?
what are others.

I grate over a super fine sieve I use for cooking. Works great! Don't use a mesh (like a chinoise) as that will collect too much- use a regular fine strainer/sieve single layer. Grate... nice fine powder result.

You could buy a $30+ grinding set that will grind your stuff to a nice fine dust. Look around on on-line headshops. If you are going the economy way, I like the above technique(cover powder with bill, rub with lighter or something else that is hard).
 
Grinding it is apart of the routine, it's fun, you should enjoy this process... really, it's easy, you just smash it with a card, scrape it off with a razor and repeat as needed...
But yeah, for large amounts you can get a coke grinder, or for pills use a coffee grinder...
 
I found the best little thing at Wal-Mart of all places. It's a little plastic cylinder that fits in the palm of your hand. One end unscrews and looks like the head of a roll on deoderant that doesnt move, you flip the lid over and presto, you grind your shit up and it's all contained in the lid which you can dump out on your mirror, etc..
It's other bonus includes the other end in which the lid flips up and there is a razor in the lid that when you put a pill in the thing and close it, you get a perfectly split pill. It gets better still, you can unscrew it from the middle and there is a storage space for whatever, as well as a little water cup. Plus the whole thing is plastic and easily washable. YOu can get it in the aisle that sells pill cases and it's only like 5 bucks, just ask where you would find a pill splitter.
 
Economical Method: A credit card, piece of paper + a hammer, a cordless phone, your friend's cell phone, etc.
Low Priced Method: A pill crusher/cutter/splitter from Wal-mart or any drug store in the pediatric section.
High Roller Method: A Morter and Pedestle from an "old fashioned" pharmacy (usually not CVS or Eckerd). Try those places downtown that look ancient. It's just a ceramic/porcelain bowl with a ceramic ummm stirrer/crusher. Takes no effort to turn ANY pill to dust, doesn't spill any powder, and holds more pills than you will probably ever crush at one time. A lot of people decorate their homes with these things too so you can find them at some interior decoration stores.
 
Get a credit card and a quarter and put the quarter over the stuff you wanna grind and then the card over the quarter and just crush it. It works really well.

Great invention , its known as the common pill crusher , 90% of old ladies have them.

Or--if you have a chem. lab at your school, you could just jack one from there, thaz what i did ;)

You can get a motor and pestole at kitchen supply places such as Lecthers or Crate and Barrel .. not that expensive for an all-glass one, the porcelin ones cost slightly more... eBay and other online auction sites are also good places to look!
