Heroin Greetings from Northern India

I'm in Dharamsala, India which is in the himalayas. Naturally I gets amazing charas and shit poor grass. The things sold as "coke" are actually ketamine or some other form of mepherdone, etc. My DOC is heroin and what I have found here is that it is all heroin#3 which means its in its free base form. I has been buying for around <price discussion> for 1.5 g but it seems to take so much powder dissolved in citric acid/ distilled vinager that i cant fit a decent shot into a single .5 cc barrel. I hate having to do multiple shots since finding a stable vein is difficult already from a previous 2 year IV Coke habit I have since stoppped. I find to get a decent rush i must inject nearly a whole gram. Im assuming the purity is low compared to the number 4 Heroin i get back in the US. Ive also heard that they add caffeine to the brown sugar as they call it here before they sell it in order to make it easier to smoke. I dont like smoking and the rush doesnt seem worth it. Should I though?

The other problem I've been having is that the fucking acid i have to mix with the dope stings like helll going in almost to the point where it overtakes the rush. Any suggestions? Could it be possible to aceytlize the H # 3 into H#4 my normal citric/ acetic acid route and then reduce the solution and mix with water?

Be very careful if you are injecting a gram at a time, because if you get a stronger batch you will be getting way more actual heroin in you than someone that only does .1 or so at a time. Always do a test shot to gauge the purity.

The heroin that you are getting seems to be #2, which is the freebase form. Heroin #3 is actually a mixture of diacetylmorphine hcl (known as #4) mixed with caffeine which allows it to be smoked without destroying the heroin. I see that you referenced this as you said they do that with the "brown sugar" you get there, so is that [brown sugar] hcl or the freebase form?

I think that you should smoke it because if it takes a gram to get you high then you are injecting a large amount of unknown cuts into your system. If you continue to IV it though, you should try to use less citric acid. I have heard of the heroin #2 + citric acid causing damage to veins, but I haven't heard of it burning that much if done correctly, so it seems that you may be using too much. The amount of citric required to break down a gram is probably what's making the solution too acidic. I second the suggestion to smoke it instead, it's extremely dangerous to inject grams at a time due to unexpected changes in potency.
