My name is __________ and I'm a long time visitor, first time poster. I've been in the game for over 30 years and was recently busted after being watched for about a month for selling to an undercover. Ten weeks before that, I was arrested after being setup by two of my former custos, whom I had "cut-off" for breaking my buyer's rules. Yeah, don't ask why I decided to phuck with them again. I am compelled to share today after reading a thread about being raided. I don't know how it works in other cities around the country but if that's the way it works in that thread's OP's city - then they need to consider themselves lucky. In Texas, it's much more - "WTF!!??" You have ZERO response time to react by the time the door comes off the hinges from the sonic grenade to the moment you're being rushed by 12 masked cops wielding AR-15's screaming "Narcotics Search Warrant!!" I repeat, ZERO! They already know what they've come for and they will find it because you have had no opportunity to stash it, flush it or God forbid, eat it. Had I eaten what I had in my safe, I surely would have died.

There is a video recorder - but they don't GAF about making a video of you, just your place and what they find. There is no rhyme or reason as to what they take from your spot - I was in a hotel room - of all the tech I had, they only took my burner phone (with all the evidence), two iphones (that had no service or evidence) and an iPad (also no evidence). They left another iPad (no evidence but they didn't know that) and my iMac (tons of evidence). I also lost about seven thousand dollars worth of personal stuff and my motorcycle in that bust. The bike was towed and sold at auction and my other personal stuff was "thrown out after 60 days" as claimed by the hotel management who, by the way, wouldn't let me people come get my stuff!

I was charged with 1st degree felony possession, which in Texas carries a sentence of 5-99 years! Since I had bonded out only 6 weeks prior, i was still carrying the 2nd degree felony MAN/DEL and 3rd degree felony Possession charges, plus a state jail felony for possession and a misdemeanor gun charge - so everything was run CC or concurrent.

Upon my release three months later, after signing for my probation, to which I was extremely grateful! My lawyer rocked that shit and got the 3rd degree felony dropped and time served for the state-jail and misD.

That was the first time I've ever been convicted of a crime in my life and it scares the bejesus out of me! Still does! Anytime, I see a cop, i cringe, even though I'm doing nothing wrong.

Like i said, I don't know how it works in other cities - but you better be super careful in Dallas, Texas.

Hope this helps and I'll be glad to assist anyone I can with advice or information.

Welcome to the site.

So your out on probation at the moment?

I know a lot of people that have been raided, some were unlucky to be part of some pretty big operations including hidden cameras, undercover police etc some were just the door goes in and grab type of raids (only one armed raid that I can recall).

Why did you have that much in the same place (especially where you were staying) ?
