I'm a retired technical writer, the perfect trade for a speed freak, by the way. My long-time bipolar/ADD diagnosis entitles me to generous prescriptions of Adderall, Vyvanse, and several types of benzos, including Zyprexa.
Which is all well and good -- I have fine-tuned my regimen to provide me a pleasant, productive buzz throughout the day. My bike rides and correspondence sessions are undertaken with intensity and vigor. Life be good.
Most of the trappings of youth I have allowed to slip away without regret. (Believe it: You will be happier in your 60s than you were in your 20s.) But as a card-carrying child of the Summer of Love, I dearly miss one of the many, many drugs I ingested during those years. MDMA still ranks as a spiritual and emotional high point in my life. I'd like to try it again, just for old time's sake. So I'm here for a catch-up on the fine points of achieving ecstasy.
I live beside Berkeley but only know squares from the tech industry. I'm hoping BL will accept me into a community where getting high is not a crime -- if such a refuge can exist within a surveillance state.
