Hi,
I've been coordinating a Harm Reduction Sanctuary at a large music festival every summer for the last 3 years. We have the Sanctuary open for 6 days and provide support and information to hundreds of people every year. This year, quite a few new volunteers mentioned Bluelight on their applications, so I decided to check it out. Due to the increased need for Harm Reduction Services, we finally got approval to increase the number of volunteers to 90 for this year, as well as a funding increase and larger space allocation.
I'm always on the lookout for new trends each year, and try to learn as much as possible before the festival starts to be as prepared as possible. We work closely with First Aid to ensure that our guests are well taken care of.
