I would like a spot I can come to with halfway intelligent replies, and this seems to be the one,I am not one to list everything that I suffer with. I have a great disdain for Pain Clinic Doctors, Veterinarians might be better!
I'm not here to bash even know I just did, I'm just over the judgments and the ignorance even 16yrs later! Just tell me this, what kind of (supposed)pain management doctor does not know the freakN difference between a half life, long life or short acting and long acting. Recently a Pain Mgmt doctor pretty much forced me to change my medication from a long acting to a short acting raising the Milligram and telling me to take two every 8 hours of the short acting medication. I ending up in the hospital with a extremely high blood pressure, racing pulse and other extreme side effects! Called a attorney as he knew I was having problems with the medication anyway. The doctor completely ignored me as he pretended to fumble thru my chart. The attorney said it would be a huge cost to all of us! So that was that! The medication was brand new and he certainly was getting kick backs for prescribing it as he said he is putting all his patients on it who are afraid to speak up for fear of losing their Pain doctors!!!!! I'm done
I am on a Butrans patch now, but been wearing it on and off for years, it only helps my neck injury and its very up and down. One day it seems to be working the next day I feel sick and have Pain like i'm on nothing. \I have a new doctor, his first words was I have had to back surgeries and I didn't have any pain!!! Ugggggggggggg then why did you have surgery idiot!8( What a first time greeting, he knows NOTHING about me and how long I have been dealing with hateful incompetence!!!!! YES I get pissed when I think about all the unnecessary things I've had to go through!!! Oh and he only prescribes Suboxone? I'm not trying to detox, I'm trying to get this (D**n) pain under control!!!! Sorry for the huge one paragraph,
