hey all, i am poppyofpeace, 27 yrs old and a long-time lurker. i have experience with various recreational substances and strive to learn as much as i can about them, particularly opioids/opiates. currently in a bit of a tough spot-the only drug problem i have is that i can't find any drugs, ha-ha. i've already learned a ton about what i do on this forum before even registering, and am hoping now that i have registered, i can find some advice on seeking treatment options-preferably maintenance therapy, as i have no desire to ever be sober for good. hoping to learn the tips and tricks you all have gathered to make withdrawal easier and the best way into maintenance therapy. my eventual goal is to become a harm-reduction advocate in an area of the u.s. where opiate use causes plenty of unnecessary pain and destruction- a shame, because when properly used, i have found poppy derivatives, natural or synthetic, to greatly boost my quality of life as long as i have regular access. happy to be a part of such a wonderful community. have fun and be safe!

We have an American drug discussion section here but to be honest there is so much opiate discussion it may be counter productive for you.
