I’m really glad to finally join the biggest, best known and most respected community in the internet’s informational drug world. After having lurked around for a long time, in this site as in many others, I find its time for me to start contributing with the little knowledge I have collected over the years. Being a fervent supporter of drug legalization and of a definitive change in drug policies around the world, I think the best way to fight addiction and drug related problems is with proper information. In this context, I think that the internet’s role in this struggle is substantial and you are all leaders this way.

If I had to introduce myself to you, I think I’d start by saying that I’m more on the psychedelic side of the thing. Lately, I have been asking myself this question: am I obsessed with psychedelic drugs or just passionate about everything that surrounds them? I’m still not sure of the answer, but it has not been a problem yet. As I don’t really have that much experience with drugs, a friend of mine says I’ll calm down once I get a taste of the real psychedelic experience. Anyway, for me, everything about it is so mysterious, mystical and yet very human, earthly and astonishingly beautiful. As Shulgin says, studying the brain is very fashionable nowadays, but what about the mind? We know nothing about the mind and the psychological potential of psychedelics cannot be underestimated.

If I could marry my work with psychedelic drugs, I would be one happy man. I already thought of studying chemistry but it wasn’t made for me at all. One year forcing you to like something you don’t makes your life quite miserable pretty quickly. Now, I enjoy myself in humanities very much and luckily, one day I’ll be able to apply all I learned here in building a better society. I definitely consider myself as someone extremely enthusiast about the positive input psychedelics can have in this world.

About protecting yourself in this forum, what about that? Do you really have federals monitoring everything, and does it matter? I laughed like crazy the first time I read someone SWIMing. The “my cat” thing is fun and the “plant” also, but the “letter received” is boring. Does anyone recommend doing so? Discouraging SWIMing testifies of the seriousness of this forum, as well as the forbidding proxies, it’s an excellent choice admins made.

Thanks for reading and I hope you got a little glance of who I am.

Putting on best Arnold Schwarzenegger voice: "Nice to meet you" ("I AM Quaid").

Wow, so it's true people are REALLY friendly here. Thank you! :)
I'm really looking forward to welcoming people too, but I'll wait till I am a bluelighter, this way at least people will have the impression I know what BL is about.

^^Yes see how nice it is to get a good/happy welcome party? Some members forget about this fact but I was welcomed with a smile and it made me want to stay and contribute to the board. Don't go off and forget us now!
