Hello everybody.

After lurking around these parts for donkeys years I've finally decided to start shooting the shit with you beautiful people.

I'm a 25 year old fella from sunny England. I'm currently unemployed, and have been since finishing uni, which was nearly a year ago now.

Since discovering this site I don't think there's been a month gone by where I haven't come on to check or ascertain facts and information: this place has been a godsend for me, and I'm sure for countless others, so I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone involved.

I hope you're all well.

Cheers.

Carl :)

Hey Laika, thanks for your reply. :)

To answer your question, all the usual stuff really: reading, watching films, listening to music, y'know. I play guitar and drums and was in a band for several years when I was younger. I studied philosophy at uni. I love writing: I write lots of short stories and poems, and I'm currently working on a play, though I have a massive problem finishing anything, which is deeply irritating.

How about yourself?

I live by the beach so I do lots of beach combing. I draw occasionally, I listen to loads of music, smoke loads of pot and love going to see bands live and give them a drawing I made after the show.
And the rest of my time is filled in with Bluelight :)

theotherside - until recently I'd just do a search for whatever info I was after at the time, I didn't really browse. Lately, though, I've been having a perusal through most of them: the drug FAQs and the seperate drug forums are such gold mines of information, it's astounding. I'm also enjoying the banter in the 'Community' forums. The posts in 'Advanced Drug Discussion' fly umpteen billion miles over my bonce, though, so I doubt you'll be seeing much of me in there! :)

Laika - I live a ten minute walk from the beach myself. The sea was the thing I missed most when I went to uni. Looking out over the water has such a wonderful relaxing effect. Aye, you can't beat living by the sea, we're lucky beggars. :)

Nice man! Do you ever come across sea glass on the beaches?
The beach is the best place to be.
