In a valley somewhere in Virginia
I've been lurking for a bit now, and finally gave in and joined. I am 25, female, tattooed quite extensively, and do professional body piercing at a local studio. I have been using on and off since high school...a bad car wreck left me in pretty lousy shape and that crud the MD was shoving down my throat wasn't cutting it. Anyway, i am glad to be here and i look foward to contributing to the forum. There is a lot for me to learn in exchange.

Im working on a layout yakuza style for my left side...im a fan of the tiger and dragon motif. Id love to upload some of my stuff, but i dont really have many pics of myself, and i don't intend to post portfolio pics, since alot of them include faces. Guess i need to have someone take pics for me.
 
^ What's yakuza style? It's good to know that sort of thing because you should think about the eventual design rather than just looking like a stamp book of smaller work.

You could crop the faces out of your photos, or use ms paint to blur them? Just saying :)
 
When i say "yakuza style" im referring to the style worn by that gang- it consists of a sleeve and chest panel that would be undetectable in a button down shirt. In japan they are illegal so they are kept hidden. I just like the style. If you google image yakuza tattoos you will see what im talking about. The imagery is breathtaking. Ill see what i can do about getting some pics of myself up, and i'll put up some dermal anchors and stuff, but what forum would that go in?

^Nice...are you wanting to go traditional Japanese style too? I have one half sleeve that's mostly all Egyptian and the other one is very cosmic occult-ish. I have 3/4" stretched lobes and 4 ga dermal left conch. Good to meet ya!
