Hello Bluelighters, Hope you are all good. Its been some years since I've been on here but I have always found the site and the forums to be really informative and supportive. I'm just back from a really destructive few years of chaotic and unmanageable using of a variety of substances which led to a spell in jail. You will see me around the SL/Recovery threads no doubt. Great to be back on BL again : )

I've never been to jail, but might be going if i get one more violation on probation -_-

How was it for you? Obviously not fun, but did you learn anything or get anything done while locked up?

To be honest, not as bad as I though it would be.

Bizarrely I was in such a bad place mentally and physically before I went in that I can safely say in many ways I needed the sentence. It gave me a bit of time to pause, reflect and change direction. In short, it did me some good.
